Fits well under blade. I appreciated it very much. I feel it would suite me better though if it also better fit the blending container shape. Also mine broke off after a month from being cut on a blade. Still works but was disappointing.
My very first Vitamix purchased, I had no experience or the on-line help there is today. I researched my A3500 machine, plus all the accessories, I like things simple, easy to use, so purchasing the under blade scrapper was a wise move. To wait 5 minutes to allow all the yummy smoothie to drain into my go-cup, is no longer an issue. This scrapper is worth purchasing as it fits the containers grooves, and well "under the blades"too. Time saving and no waste, big thumbs up.
It's okay. Serves it's purpose to a degree but it's a bit too soft to easily get everything from under the blade for thicker foods (and you won't need it for thinner blends). So, it kind of does what it is supposed to and it is just cheap enough to not be a total disappointment... but I wouldn't spend money on it again.
I haven’t had to use the scraper too much yet based on what I’ve made in my Vitamix to date. I have used it with my food processor and that is definitely saving my rubber scrapers during pesto making season. I’m sure once I get into nut butters this will be a handy tool.
