Perfect scraper

This tool is a food saver! I would get so frustrated trying to get the clumps of almond butter/hummus/etc from underneath the blades that I would give up and wash a lot down ht drain. The scraper is the right length and shape to get almost all of the good stuff!!

This is a great tool for your Vitamix. I just bought the A3500 and after reading reviews decided to pick this guy up with my purchase. This Christmas I made my Cranberry Salsa that I make every year for Christmas gifts and this tool helped so much transferring it from my Vitamix to the bowl. I've made this salsa for years in all kinds of blenders and smoothie makers and it can be tough to get the salsa out from under the blade. The scraper made it soo much easier. I used it carefully around the blade as others have recommended because it is silicone and therefore can still be cut up by the blade but it really works so well at scooping out the food from the bottom of the blender. You don't have to waste all that good food now...just use the scraper you will save so much.

I had hoped based on reviews this would be more helpful, but I find that while it does do a good job scraping under the blades as intended, I still end up using another scraper to do the sides and bottom. So, I end up not using this as it's more hassle than I want to go through to use 2 scrapers. Maybe if I were blending thicker foods and more were stuck under the blade I'd find it worth the trouble. Good quality though and I like how long it is.

Not sure if it’s really necessary if you are only making smoothies, but for the thicker stuffs this will definitely make your life much easier.

It does what the name says it does, which is that it gets under the blades. But that's really all it's good for - the head is way too small to be an efficient scraper for the walls of the container. Switching to a regular spatula for that is much quicker.
I think people calling this a "game-changer" are taking things a little too far, but it makes quick work of something like a nut butter stuck on the undersides of the blades.

I make my own hummus and this simple tool makes getting as much out of the blender so easy! Not a lot of waste. It is also good at scraping the sides of the blender too!
