Why doesn’t this come with the machine? And why had I never heard of it before? It’s a necessary accessory. I have damaged more spatulas on the sharp blades, and lost so much food that I couldn’t get out from under the blades. I’m so glad I finally learned about this tool .

Until I bought it I never realised what you lose by rinsing out too soon! A handy clip on the Vitamix would be helpful for holding it as it is now the utensil we can never find in the kitchen drawer!

I think everyone with a Vitamix should buy one of these as you will use it every time you are making a butter or a spread or basically anything that is not mostly liquid. I make butters every week and this makes it so much easier to get the most out of my container.

Does not scrape well, not easy to maneuver around blade and bottom of blender as intended. It was easier for me to scrape off using a skinny jar spatula I have instead of this scraper.
