I was hoping this Blade Scraper would help me remove my very thick line and avocado coconut milk smoothies, Either i could never figure it out, or it was simply the wrong tool. I returned it. I love my blender by the way.

This tool is flat enough to get under the blades and should have allowed you to scoop up the smoothie at the bottom of the container. Can't say much for the blade scraper, but it makes a really good stir stick if you need to stir something deep. If you don't need a stir stick, save your money.

I bought this item hoping it would be easy to scrap out food scraps. It doesn't do it very well at all. My wife keeps saying we should switch to a Ninja because you can easily remove the blades and scrape clean all the food caught down under the blades. I've tried resisting this but it looks like we are just going to switch because the Vitamix doesn't have removable blades. Wasting food is hard to do.
