Being a woman I had no idea I could use a chainsaw. I live in the country and am surrounded by trees but little trees sprout up here and there creeping into the yard. I started looking up battery powered chainsaws and realized I could handle that.

My mothers insurance company required tree branches over the garage and front yard to be removed. this was the first chance I have had to use it. It buzzed through every branch I tried. Is light enough that working from the roof was not that risky.

Amazing Little Saw

I already have the Skil 40v saw, but since I have a bunch of Skil 20v tools and batteries, and given it's price, I figured I'd pick up this saw. It's always nice to have a light saw for cleaning up limbs when a branch or tree falls down. This saw has really impressed me. The first time I fired it up, I was like, "Woah, that's some serious chain speed." And when I let go of the trigger, the saw stopped instantly. From that point, this saw has done nothing but impress me.
It's got all the standard saw features you want. The automatic oiler works well and doesn't leak. The toolless chain tensioner is convenient and works well. There is a chain brake for safety. The saw is small but feels solid.
Like I said, it's fast. The bar is only 12 inches, but you can use all of it and it will go through stuff with no issues. And it's light. I can use this saw for hours and not get worn out from lugging it around. The battery; I use the saw for hours and think, "Well, it must be time for a new battery", but I've only used half of it. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time.
I got this saw for small jobs here and there. It turns out, this saw is so nice to use, I end up using it for jobs on bigger logs than I expected. A bigger saw will go through the bigger stuff faster, but for a lot of jobs, I can do the whole thing with just this saw. That saves more time than switching to a bigger saw.
Given the price, if you are on the fence at all about this saw, just get it. You will not be disappointed.

The Lubricating system is gravity fed, therefore when it is left sitting for a period of time with a full oil reservoir it will seep out especially in hotter weather.
