The SKIL PWR Core 20 Kit works great. The saw is light weight, well balanced, powerful, and quiet. I bought this saw as a top handled arborist saw to trim my trees. This saw is easy to use single handed when up in a tree. The bar oil lasts a long time and It leaks very little. The battery lasts a reasonable amount of time. I have many gas chainsaws, but I use this one 99% of the time. For the price, this is the best value in a small, top handled chainsaw. Your first chainsaw should be a battery powered one as they are MUCH less trouble than a gas saw. I would buy this saw again.

I like that it's lightweight and efficient to operate. Not as powerful and fast as a gas driven chainsaw, but plenty of power to handle most cutting jobs.

This little saw is a monster! I had some damaged small trees and limbs that resulted from a heavy snow/ice storm that needed removing and trimming. This saw was up to the challenge, and more! Battery operated, incredibly quiet, and enormously powerful!
