Overall good build quality. Tool is awesome, battery is awesome, and charger is awesome. One thing on the tool is the bolt that pins the surface place has too much slop. Also no tool case even offered for buying to fit this in.

I was looking for a SAW with a vacuum port and this is the only one I could find which is cordless and at a reasonable price. It works well so far and the brake works great. Dust port works amazingly well with a shop vac.

Great saw. I wish it had the laser line that the corded version has. However, I’m really pleased I opted for the battery one. Enough power, a little heavy, but not too bad, and no cord to deal with. I trust the battery technology these days.

I have used a Skil saw in a corded version for several years and am very pleased with it's performance. I bought this saw, however, to assist in completing a 14'X20' deck and I was tired to moving a 50-foot cord around from one location to the next. The first time I engaged it, I was a little anxious about the cutting power on large stock such as 2"X12' boards. Well, we got on the job and put this saw to work and it performed like a champ! It went through these boards with the same ease of the corded version. We made around 20 cuts on these boards and the battery remained at 4 bars. Looks like I made a good choice.

Great Small Saw

I replaced my Skil Mag 77 worm drive saw with this 6 1/2 model. The Mag saw was just too heavy for what I do now that I'm 75. This saw works like a dream. I'd recommend it and I'd buy it again.

This saw came without a rip fence and we cannot find one to fit it. We ordered the part in the SKIL website and it is the correct part but won't fit. It's too wide and too thick.
