This is a light weight hedge trimmer. I like the front and back triggers to prevent accidental activation of the unit. The blades are sharp and had no problems with cutting through brush.

I enjoy using this battery-operated trimmer. It works well and integrates battery wise with other Skil products I own. It replaced a corded hedge trimmer so the process of going out and doing a little trimming is much more convenient. Quite capable of trimming branches based on its size limitation.

I am truly impressed with this trimmer! For a battery powered tool, this thing is a beast! Average grass and weeds don't stand a chance on LOW, and on HIGH, tall quack grass and woody weeds are toast. I've done my one acre twice now and only had to tap for new line once!
