I was faced with either buying a new battery and charger for my existing string trimmer or a new Skil unit. I wanted this unit to work since I have 5 other of the Skil PWR 20 hand products (Drill, Circular saw, jig saw, fan and sander) and lots of chargers! I am not disappointed. The unit works well and "tap" string advance is working as well.

Very powerful and fairly well balanced. Shaft is about 6 inches too long for me; I am 5 ft-8in tall.
Line loading works well but I found that the line tangled inside the housing one time out of 8 uses.
