Just got this unit for my 2 story house and upstairs has trouble cooling. This cools so fast and is very quiet compared to others I've used. It's extremely easy to setup and install. And looks and performs much better than your standard window units. Plus this has a fan mode, dehumidifier mode and a heating mode.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The perfect climate control system for the new studio!

I am building a new studio out of a shed and decided I'd need a climate control system for it. This unit's huge 14K BTU output was the perfect pick. With both heat and A/C, it can handle things year round. While winter here is stopping me from testing the A/C portion of this, The heater is working great and it keeps the area dry and warm. I have no doubt that when needed, the A/C part of it will work just as well. Overall I am happy with it! It's a lot quieter than I thought it would be, and it takes up little floor space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The air conditioning is silent. And it cools down very well. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and I am using this air conditioner every day as a replacement for our central air conditioner. I realize that we are saving a lot more energy than last year with it. I would recommend it, especially in the summer. I need to adapt our window for the air outlet because it is a little bigger than the window vent kit that comes with it.

Does Not Last Very Long.

Was very impressed with it at first, but then it all went downhill. I owned this portable AC for 28 days now and this morning I noticed a "FL" fault appear on the LCD. I thought okay, it just need to drain it. After that, everything ran okay for about 30 minutes until the "FL" fault returned. Once again I went ahead to drain it, but no water really came out. At this point, I decided to tilt the AC on it's face to see if I can troubleshoot it. But the second I did that, water leaked everywhere and soaked my rug!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was skeptical but decided to take a chance and purchased this. WOW! From the moment I turned it on I was surprised. It's super quiet but don't let that fool you. This baby cooled my 400sf sunroom in less than 30 minutes! I don't know why I waited so long to buy this. I live in the east county of San Diego and our heat can hit triple digits on a hot day. I highly recommend this product. You won't be disappointed.

This unit works well for cooling. However, it is LOUD. And I actually like loud fans, but this makes loud buzzing noise that are occasionally accompanied by a whistling sound. Ive only ever owned window units, so maybe this is normal, but it sounds just like the exterior AC unit but inside my bedroom. I find that buzzing noise extremely unpleasant, so it's taking everything in me to get used to this god awful noise.
