Utterly confused

I bought this set with high expectations given the hype. I used extra virgin olive oil to fry an egg sunny side up and I could not slide the egg onto my plate since the egg was stuck to the pan. Even with a silicone spatula the egg would not easily release. I didn't have this issue with my previous cooking set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Non-stick is temporary.

We have been using the large frying pan for less than a year and not only is it no longer 'non-stick', the food glues itself to the bottom and has to be heated with water in it to get it off. When we first got it, the pan was great. That was short lived. If you are looking for a pan to use frequently, this might not be the one for you.

Really like these pans. The non stick is amazing. Very effective during cooking and very easy to clean. They also work on my induction range. My only criticism is that the handle near the pan gets hot during cooking. It noticed a big difference between these and the Valencia pro pans I have. Its not too bad but still noticeable. I would still highly recommend these pans give their price point.
