[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok I am all about laser hair removal and have gotten it professionally done in the past and even bought a machine on my own. I was surprised at the new technology that has come out such as this IPL. I love how this machine looks very elegant and professional. It’s very easy to use. The machine literally does all the hard work for you. I’m going to compare pain levels from the at home laser machine I own to this braun one. The Braun one hurts less for sure. I think it’s because it detects your skin tone and how hard it sends a flash. That being said I’m not going to say it doesn’t hurt. Pain is beauty right? Depending on which areas you use it, you will definitely feel it more in the sensitive areas. Overall I’ve been using it for weeks and have noticed less hair growth. I can’t wait to see the results in 6 months to a year. Everything takes time, you won’t see results overnight so please be patient. Overall I am very pleased with this IPL system and the only thing I would recommend is getting some sort of laser goggles/glasses. The flashes are pretty bright and after a while do hurt your eyes.

Very effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't 100% sure this would work with my hair colour which is dark auburn and I have very hair skin but have been using it for about four weeks now and there is a definite reduction in hair growth. It's a really easy to use and well made unit. I've been using it on my arms, legs and bikini area. I haven't used it on my face as I have facial fillers and that is contradicted but once those have worn off I'll be tackling that area. My arms responded quickest, really within a couple of weeks and my legs are definitely getting there. The hair will grow back if you stop using it so I'll carry on with weekly use.
it doesn't hurt to use. It's a very very slight kind of twang which you quickly get used to and it's not enough to put me or I doubt anyone else off from using it. It takes me about twenty minutes to do both legs so I make sure I use it on a day when I've got plenty of time and that helps me do it consistently. It does say to stay out of the sun after use and I'll be going on vacation soon so I'll be taking a break from it for two weeks and then will get back to it. Compared to the price of visiting a salon it's a great investment.

Easy to use !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this Braun New Silk expert Pro 5 and I’m very excited to be able to use this tool in the privacy of my home. Coming from a cosmetology background I’m used to doing this sort of thing on myself. So far it is doing a great job ! It’s very easy to use , directions are easy to understand, product is high quality and stores nicely in its own case ! My skin is very fair and my hair is very dark and so far I’m impressed. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I stated seeing less growth after a few weeks, you do have to use the device consistently. But it works and shows results. Legs and underarms but not as good results on the bikini line. It may take a bit longer. It’s so nice not to have to shave everyday and it beats going to the spa. The device works good for the most part. Love that it come with the carry case and other attachments. Was definitely a learning curve for me to use it but I got used to it and have the rhythm down. It does flash a bright light. It’s a well made device. And it’s not a cheaply made one. As far as pain it’s bearable. But you need to shave before using. Follow those instructions to a T is very important. Would I recommend yes! Ekg your hair and skin tone is a fit this device is wonderful.

We'd like to mention that some people will experience slight discomfort (e.g. heat or redness of the skin) when using the device, and this is normal. You may feel heat and tingling when activating the flash, followed by redness in the skin, and this type of reaction usually disappears within 24 hours. As well, our IPL has gone through many quality checks to ensure that you can enjoy the best possible results. Since only hairs in their growing phase are susceptible to treatment with light, it's important to do multiple treatments to achieve continuously smooth skin. For this reason, we recommend a start-up phase of 12 weeks. During this time, we suggest using the device once per week. Painless, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for dark hair! It is easy to use, and even painless. It beats plucking, waxing, etc. I love items like that because it is something I can do at home and when it is convenient. You will love seeing places that had hair suddenly become bare!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very low tolerance for pain and somewhat sensitive skin so I was very skeptical about trying an at home hair removal system. I have been VERY impressed at the results and the ease of use.
I’d first say definitely read the instructions. It’s not hard to use or operate but to get the best results (fastest) follow the directions. I noticed my hair growing back thinner after a few weeks then not growing back at all after about a month. I will continue to use this for 4-6 months to hopefully rid the areas from hair that I want gone!
The pain isn’t bad. It doesn’t really sting, just feels warm and not bad at all. I’m a wuss and I can deal with it daily!
Overall this is a well made product that works! Once you get in a groove with it, it’s quick and doesn’t take much time! It’s well worth the time when you start to notice hair not growing back!

I got this tool to help get more of the missed areas and WOW. I was able to use this and not only get better hair removal than the in-person laser but it also has been extremely easy to add into my weekly/monthly routine! I would have given 5 stars but I would liked to have seen the device come with a larger head or attachment to speed up the process when doing larger areas.

Being able to follow the easy instructions was a huge relief. Also being able to do this in the privacy of my own home was great. My husband has also asked to use it on problem areas for him. Overall we are very happy to have this tool! Bring on the warm weather!!!
