So far, So smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only completed 2 sessions so far with the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5 is, but what I noticed was I missed a path on one leg the first time around. It was significantly noticeable when I did the 2nd session, as the hair on that spot was much longer than the bit of stubble on rest of my legs. I also noticed doing the area around my ankles with the standard cap that it was not detecting a valid skin area, so I simply turned the unit sideways instead of switching the nozzle to the smaller one.
The design and construction of the unit is well made and easy to hold/maneuver. My only wish is the unit was rechargeable vs plug in, for the convenience of sitting on my couch. Overall, not a huge issue as it really only takes a few minutes to do the treatment.
At this point I am very pleased with the Braun Silk Expert Pro and looking forward to more sessions to see the end results!

I have found out that if I used the laser 12 hours after I shave that's my sweet spot. I'm already seeing there's no new growth on the lower parts of my legs. It's super easy and fast to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Silk-Expert Pro 5 couldn't have arrived at a better time. I was looking for a tool to use for facial hair that seems to be much more prominent as I approach menopause.
I received this, carefully reading the instructions and watching several online videos prior to using it for the first time. It is easy to use, painless and so convenient and it's definitely much more affordable than going into a salon for hair removal. I can do this in my home and at my convenience with ease, discretion and lack of embarrassment. I haven't had it long enough to say how it works but am very encouraged based on reviews that it will work. The instructions say to use weekly on freshly shaven areas so the product targets hair at its base to prevent new growth. There are side sensors that read your hair color and adjust the lightwaves accordingly. It can take up to a couple of months of weekly treatment to eliminate hair growth at which point it may only need to be used less frequently, every other week or monthly. I'm looking forward to hair free legs, underarms, bikini area and upper lip. Thank you Braun!

The treated areas either grow back or is super slow to. As a more cost effective solution for laser hair removal this is a great DIY option for the average individual.

Hair Removal At Home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hair removal at home that targets the melanin that's in each hair follicle which then stops your hair from regrowing in those areas that you want no hair. It uses intensed pulse lightening to allow for a permeant hair reduction. I have been using it for 4 weeks now going on my 5th week & I used to have to shave every 2-3 days to keep myself up! Now I can go much longer about 1x a week at this point! I am going to continue using it to get down to 1x a month or less! It has saved me so much time not having to shave so much. It has made life easier with painless hair removing as plucking hurt & shaving usually left me with cut's.
It is so easy to use which is also a plus you just plug it in push the button & let it warm up which is a very quick warm up period then your ready to go! It comes in a really nice vanity case with 2 precise caps, wide cap, and standard cap. Also came with a venus extra smooth razor so you can get a nice smooth shave before laser treatments. You want to get a smooth, clean nice shave to allow the treatments to be able to penetrate the hair follicles and allow it to target the melanin & stop the hair from regrowing back this shave allows a more accurate treatment. It is quick you can do both legs in 10-15 minutes.
After the 4-12 weeks you can decrease your treatments to only using it every 1-2 months. The time saved along with the nice smooth legs has made me love my Braun in home laser hair removal tool & I have told everyone I know about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this IPL device from Braun. Like most women I love having smooth skin, but don’t always have time to shave daily. I also did not want to pay for professional laser hair removal. To start with, this device comes with so many different attachments and a quality carrying case. It works best if you have a bigger difference between your skin tone and hair color. I have very pale skin and medium brown hair. I tested it exactly as instructed and had no issues then a week later did my legs on the sensitive setting. From then on I used the regular setting as instructed. I had no pain or burning at all. I have only been using for a few weeks and have started seeing a reduction in hair. I’m excited to keep trying on different areas and see how it works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Silk Expert Pro 5 IPL with multiple caps has a very sleek design. It's light weight for easy use. It comes in an adorable blush case to keep everything packed away neatly. I will say the experience when using the device is strange. It's not painful but there is a bit of a shock feeling when it is pulsing the light. It's bright too. Directions say it takes 4 weeks to show results and then you need maintenance treatments. A good home alternative for hair removal that is more affordable.
