I am a fan of Lenovo laptops and owned several Thinkpad's and Flex in the past. This is my very first Legion. This is a solid laptop with great performance while plugged in. I can connect to two external monitors, I can play games such as Jedi Fallen Order or Back 4 Blood smoothly. Very happy with the display quality, resolution and brightness.
My biggest disappointment is the short battery life. So far it barely lasts 2 hours just browsing internet or photos. I suspect the battery is also significantly drained during sleep (avoid sleep, just turn off the machine).
Also, please be aware that it does not have a sd/microsd card reader :-( I bought this laptop for two main purposes: photo editing and gaming. I just assumed that it would come with a card reader - my mistake!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Legion 5i Pro had the CPU, Disk, Screen, GPU and price I was looking for in a Gen 6 model, and it shipped very quickly compared to estimates. The RAM was only 16Gb so I upgraded that to 64Gb as soon as I received it so it could keep up with Windows 11 and my apps.
Overall I strongly recommend this model at close out prices.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is awesome, brighter 1440p screen with 16:10 aspect ratio. No performance issues at all. Battery time is good when used in silent mode. Fans gets super noisy in performance/gaming mode and the 300w charger is huge and too heavy to carry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a faster computer that could handle graphics and video work. I also do a lot of business stuff (MS Office, Adobe), but wanted a computer that could handle the work load. This computer does what I needed and SO much more! It's ridiculously fast, and it's great to know I can expand the memory if necessary in the future. I'm VERY pleased with this purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptop arrived very fast. Sleek design, powerful specs.
Upon first ever powering up, had an issue with the operating system, where the Start button and many other apps were not working. Rebooted to factory settings and it seemed to do the trick. But not sure why a brand new laptop would even have that issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working on Lenovo laptops in my corporate job for many years, once I retired and needed to buy a personal laptop, it was a no brainer. I opted for the Legion as I am more an audio recording hobbyist than a gamer and wanted a bit more power. So far I am very happy with the Legion and fits all my requirements I need and would certainly buy again.
