[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very fast while durable and slim (compared to my old non-gaming laptop). The display is bright and clear. The only con is that the battery life is short but that can be explained by the laptop's performance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching many different gaming computers I chose the Legion 5 with 3070ti. It had all the specs I was looking for without the bloated price and looks great. Power brick a bit large but otherwise amazing computer.
My primary use is browsing, because I'm literally always browsing, which I can do while I game and edit images. This laptop can handle anything I can throw at it, even during my most ADHD moments when I'm doing everything at once.
The screen is bright, so bright I've had to turn the brightness down on a laptop for the first time in a lifetime.
The fans are reasonable. If you push the laptop, it's going to go off like a helicopter, but I've never felt it get too hot. I've never felt it get hot at all. You can also adjust the settings and let it bake if you prefer the quiet. I guess you'd do that if you were on mic with friends.
The speakers are better than my last laptop, but only by a bit. They're laptop speakers, so...
Everything is adjustable. Lenovo Vantage is awesome like that. The keyboard can get too bright at night, distracting from the screen. My solution was to change the color to #200000, which looks black on the preview onscreen, but it's still a red light under my keys. There's a tip for easily distracted people who need to see their keys well at night.
It has a handy key to mute your mic and a switch on the side to cut your built-in camera.
Lenovo has a calculator shortcut on the keyboard for all my fellow STEM majors, along with a numpad. Convenient.
It's fast. Fast laptop is fast. You can set it to turn on when you lift the screen, and, when it turns on, it's just on. Games boot up like they were running in the background the whole time. I mean, if you're not used to a mid-range gaming laptop, you're gonna be shook.
Laptop is fast, stays cool, has gorgeous graphics capabilities, is actually smaller than you'd expect, has a comfortable keyboard and responsive touchpad, can handle your ADHD, can handle that game that your current laptop can't even run and on its best graphic settings too, and I can't tell you anything about the battery because I never unplug a laptop.
So what's the downside? It comes with Windows 11, which still needs outside programs to function in an acceptable manner. If you have to downgrade specs or go for an older model to get Windows 10, do it. I had already set everything up and transferred files before I realized what an incomplete mess Windows 11 is. You have to do a clean install to downgrade. While that wouldn't be an issue for a lot of you, I can't be bothered. I use an outside program. Won't mention it as it's against the guidelines, but you can easily find it.
All that being said, I can see this laptop lasting for years to come and still being able to keep up with new games and their ridiculous requirements. I'd recommend it. 5/5. Would buy again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a very nice computer. Just be aware that this unit is quite heavy, so if you are looking for light weight this is not for you but if you are looking for very good performance this might be a good choice for your application.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No extra costs for branding or fancy proprietary features. Reliable, long-lasting, top of the line machine.
