I came from having a Nest and Honeywell smart thermostats. The Wyze has a much better price but it does not have as tight control. The temp variant is much broader.

Easy to set up and program. Note that for schedule you will need to plan to start the desired temp 30 mins to an hour earlier.

Not bad for the price

I installed the thermostat in about 45 minutes, I only had 4 wires but had a spare in the cable and picked up the common from my zone control. Set up was easy....but...when I went to link the thermostat to my google home it just freezes on the Wyze login screen. Other than that I'm good with it.

I installed this 5 days ago, I had to install the c adapter as I only have 4 wires in my system. Install took about 25 min. and set up was a breeze. The temperature reading seems to be off by about 2 degrees f. witch I corrected in the app. It does seam to overshoot on the heating to about 2 to 3 degrees above the set point. I can't find any info on how to adjust this. I wish there were some more descriptions on how the different features work that are available in the app, so I don't have to change a setting and wait and see how it effects the operation. Overall this, so far, seems to be a very nice thermostat with some nice features. Hope long term goes as well as first 5 days.

Not reading correct temp

Purchased this and had no issues installing. The temp reading was 13 degrees off. Even booted up two additional wireless thermostats to compare and confirm that the Wyze was WAY off. Adjusted the temp to -10 through advanced settings. Home will heat 1 to 2 degrees past set temp. After heat turns off the thermostat temp display continues to climb, surpassing even the 13 degree and -10 setting. Waiting to hear from Wyze support. Very disappointed.

Easy to install and easy to use

I really like this thermostat .Its easy enough to install that I could do it by just watching the video from the Wyze app. i like that i can connect it to Alexa with no problem, through the Wyze app and its also easy to use manually. The design is nice and modern so it will look nice on your wall. Well worth my money.
