This works well. I did have to have my A/C company install it because we have no common wire, and the A/C unit is new/under warranty. We use it for both heating and A/C. I like that it's dark until you walk near it. No problem using it from the app as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Install : Temperature readings fluctuate

The thermostat was easy to install (but I do get an error message saying I installed the wires incorrectly) but the temperature reading seems to be all over the place. I have kept several other thermometers around and Wyze never seems to agree with it. It heats my house to a few degrees above my setting. The Wyze sensor doesn't agree with my thermostat. Not sure how I feel about its reliability on the temperature.

The thermostat works great and wasn’t hard to setup, with the exception when it wanted to upgrade the firmware it kept disconnecting from the wireless. Once I reset the thermostat I was able to connect back. At some point I will try to update again. I would and have recommended this thermostat to many friends.
