The thermostat is attractive and very functional! Installation was simple with step by step instructions. Operation is easy and the ability to change settings from my phone is great! Overall the 5 star rating is well deserved!
I like the thermostat just a learning curve. Would like to know if you are away and someone triggers it does it stay at that setting or revert to away status
Calls Aux heat with HeatPump system too soon/often

Works terrible with a standard heat pump system with second stage aux heating. Compared to my old dumb unit, this thermostat causes my system to go into aux heating prematurely and overshooting temperatures when doing so. Using more electricity and causing big temp fluctuation. No idea what the problem is, wired up correctly, just seems like whatever algorithm the unit uses isnt that great. Will be returning both units i bought to go back to standard heat pump thermostats.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

had the dreaded Nest which was nothing but trouble, it was constantly giving me problems resetting itself and changing my settings. This Waze is fabulous!! it can be reset at the wall, why some frustration as I seem to invariably go the wrong way, or on my phone. Excellent app and so clever! Just pick up your phone, set the temp and you are good. I have ordered 2 more for my other houses.
I bought two of these thermostats to use on two different properties. I installed one and it would not work with my furnace. I called my HVAC professional to find what was going on with my furnace and it was the thermostat. I had him take it off and put the old one on. I will try installing the same thermostat on my other property.

Product is great but they told me it was not compatible. I hung up and got it to work. Need to trai. Your crew how to actually install these so they can help customers better.
