Goes offline frequently, and will not reconnect on its own, forcing me to completely reinstall the unit to get it to connect. Frequently changes temperature settings to some kind of default other than what I set the unit on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not work properly with multi-stage systems. Maybe would be acceptable for a very simply system, but will not adequately operate more complicated systems, even though it is specified to do so. Customer service is essentially non-existent

Unit has several problems. Furnace does not shut off when set temperature (75°) is reached. House got up to 86° and furnace was still going. "Off" does not shut furnace off. I have to "Restart" twice to shut furnace and fan off. The wiring was checked and rechecked. Thermostat and app have latest updates. We have spent hours. I am sending it back. Reinstalled original Thermostat.
