Fails routinely with Wi-Fi not working. If I unplug from wall and replace it fixes but this is like rebooting your car while driving. Unacceptable, of course.
The thermostat is not very accurate. The preset schedule range for away and home is very annoying with the range, it needs to be customizable. I have basically turned it back into a standard dumb thermostat because in the middle of the night it will move the setting and you have to restart it. The dead band is to large for an AC in a house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, you may also set the temperature preference of your Wyze thermostat to set your preferred range for Home, Away and Sleep. To access these settings select Menu > Settings > Thermostat Preferences.

Disconnects from signal every 4 days. Pput modem and router on ups and all worked thru a real power outage, so that is not problem. Unit disconnects for no apparent reason.
