Saved us money on day one

This thermostat has already saved us money. We used to have an issue where the heater would set off the alarm system so we had to remember to turn it off everyday. Now that it's automated we don't worry any more. Lots of great features, just wish that the geo-fence was more reliable.

I wouldn’t buy again

I’ve had mine for over a year, and it’s super janky. The app isn’t user friendly at all, and it takes a lot of trial and error (ie waking up in the middle of the night sweltering bc there are 2 sets of temp settings.) Also if you put the temp on a hold, it doesn’t work at all, and it just keeps right on following the schedule. Def not worth the money at the higher price point, and overall, just works ok.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scheduling is broken

I've been having allllll sorts of problems with creating schedules.
* temp preferences not saved after tapping save
* temperature preferences not updating as expected
* modes (away/home/sleeping) not changing as scheduled
* goes into a hold mode seemingly on its own accord, and with no easy way to tell the hold is enabled
* note: scheduled mode changes don't always work even if not in a hold mode
* I can't make any sense of the auto mode feature, so I had to turn that off right away
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought two. 1 for the house and 1 for the garage.

Great product. Needs a minimum 3 wires. Red, white and Blue common wires. Only negative I have found so far is the temp will only go down to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. In the winter I keep my garage set to 40 degrees. I was able to achieve this by utilizing the temperature correction. I feel it's a work around but would like to see the ability to just set the temp to 40 degrees. This is why I took away one star. Great product otherwise.
