It’s not as sleek-looking as the Nest. However, I love the Wyze ecosphere, being able to use one app, set schedules, and control everything that I need. Best feature is controlling the fan separately with a schedule. I run the fan 20 minutes every hour even when the system is not cooling or heating, which circulates air in the home. Great function!
So far like it a lot. Set up was easy, using the c-wire adaptor was quick and fixed an issue I was having my existing c-wire. Works great and love the ease it is to use
I like this, though it can be inconsistent in the programming. Sometimes I will change the temperature and it will say it's heating to X in Y minutes but then not start. When I check the app, it's still set to the previous temp. I also wish that the Rules included setting the mode to Auto, rather than just heat or cold. I have the thermostat set to go off if the front or back door are left open, and having it turn back to Auto when the doors are closed rather than just hot/cold would be nice.
What I really like about this unit is the ability to view the temperature remotely, as well as change settings without having to visit the thermostat on the hallway wall. Also the display temperatur readout is exceptional.
I've been very pleased with it, however I don't use its full capabilities because I always use it in "HOLD" mode because that's how the 3 users in my family are accustomed to setting the temperature with the old thermostat. What's really great is being able to control it from our smart phones. I do wish WYZE had the remote sensors available, hence the reason I only gave it a 4-star rating.
Great wifi smart thermostat. I can adjust my home's temperature while i am away on vacation. The only thing that I wish was different is that I wish it was touch screen instead of a dial that you rotate.
nice gadget, I have 2 of them now and I like the utility of it however, settings are confusing as it seems unclear if preferred temps or scheduled temps take over ... it would be nice for there to be a screen showing "this is what will happen today" given current settings
