Very simple process to install with easy to follow instructions. I replaced my old one and set up new Wyze in about 20 minutes. I really like that I can control it all from my phone wherever I am in the world!

Not bad for the price

I installed the thermostat in about 45 minutes, I only had 4 wires but had a spare in the cable and picked up the common from my zone control. Set up was easy....but...when I went to link the thermostat to my google home it just freezes on the Wyze login screen. Other than that I'm good with it.
Easy to install an looks great. Works pretty well, but I don't know why it starts the furnace for 5 seconds, turns off for 5 seconds, then turns back on. It also takes several minutes to turn off when I turn the heat down.
A little tricky to set up, but not too bad. Works amazing, don't know how lived without it

Scheduling bug, accuracy, damaged heat pump

I purchased a couple of these and had to return them for several reasons: 1. The unit wouldn't followed the programmed schedule. 2. The Alexa integration had bugs and would say both thermostats were set to 50 degrees. 3. Even after calibrating the units to a reference thermometer, the Wyze thermostats would drift away by several degrees. 4. I woke up to find one of the thermostats completely offline. It didn't trip the breaker, but the unit would not turn back on. Upon reinstalling the previous non-smart thermostat, the heat pump made a buzzing sound and emitted a burnt odor. The Wyze thermostat had only been installed for less than 24 hours, and it appears to have damaged our heat pump. We are waiting for a technician to assess the damage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
