Easy to install but a lot more complicated to set actual settings : wording for setting temperature is unclear and definitely have had to re enter app many times to start or stop the system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The thermostat is really good. Like all the features. The away feature is nice so I can set it when we’re gone rather than resetting temperatures each time. Not all wifi thermostats have auto mode to change from heating to cooling.
Each sensor shows a different temperature when sitting side by side and different than the main thermostat.

These thermostats have been a solid buy and an improvement for us. We bought two to manage two heatpumps in our house. They have worked well for the most part. Installing them was fairly simple, but both stated there were wiring errors on installation, despite confirming with Wyze support that they were correctly wired. They worked well following this. One briefly had its screen become fuzzy and hard to read, but it seemed to straighten itself out. (Powering it down, popping it off the wall, and putting it back on seemed to have no effect.) Given the price and it's functionality, I'd buy it again.

Took about 1 hour to install because the initial setup was different from the app than in real life. Had to use the c wire adapter it provided to make it all functional. Had to go check YouTube to see where the c wire plugged into the unit. Other than that process everything works flawless after installation. Very convenient to use it from the Wyze app and save money on electric and gas bill when no one is home.
