I have a Nest thermostat that works fine with my Central Air unit. This thermostat claims I have to connect some type of C adapter directly to the unit. This makes no sense when I am using the Nest Thermostat without any issues. This will probably get returned as it does not work for me.

Needs a c wire

You need a C wire from stat location to furnace to work or if on hot water with zones the control box needs a c wire I had to return mine You can buy ones with a battery so you don’t need a C wire but are more expensive
I love these headphones. The battery lasts forever. The sound quality is great for the price. The build quality is also great.

Not for Google or Alexia

Works with Wyze app, not with Google or Alexia. Shows offline for Google and server not responsive. Big selling point was it worked with both systems.

Install was very cumbersome, licensed electrician had to come twice, and even then he couldn’t finish the job, I had to bring a friend, computer whizz to connect the Thermostat to my WIFI router. Programming it was also complicated, I still am not happy with it. Device looks good, but needs a lot of work to make it easier for an average person to install, connect and program.

Some would argue the greatest invention ever is the TV remote control. It is hard now to imagine having to get up and go to the TV to change the volume or channel, At its very least the Wyze provides the same capability for home temperature. Movie is on, house is cold, I just grab my phone and dial up a few degrees. Yes it can and does do much more, but if all it did was allow you to change the heating or cooling, from anywhere, it is worth the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great product with 1 glaring flaw...

I will cut right to the chase... Overall, just like all of Wyze's products, this thermostat is an amazing value. Unfortunately there is one glaring flaw that I really hope they will fix: In "Auto" mode, there is a 5 degree separation between the "heat to" and "cool to" values... I have never seen this in any other thermostat. This makes this thermostat extremely annoying for me to use because I constantly have to adjust it... My house stays at the perfect temperature when I have a thermostat where I can set "heat to 66" "cool to 68", but that is not possible with this thermostat, so I can't just leave it set and forget it.... This is particularly annoying me right now as we are having really cold nights but warm days. This means I have to adjust this thermostat twice a day instead of the ZERO times a day of any other thermostat.
If you only have heat to control, this isn't a problem, but if you are like me and have heat and A/C, this just creates unnecessary extra work in what is supposed to be a product that ADDS conevnience, this product SUBTRACTS convenience for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!
