Glamorous Barbie Doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very attractive, glamorous-looking Barbie doll, which is just what most girls want in a Barbie (I think). Compared to photos that I found on Google, this doll accurately reflects Laverne Cox's actual appearance. The LGBT connection is not apparent when looking at the doll and is only vaguely mentioned in the essay on the back of the packaging. My daughter, like most kids, I suspect, immediately removed the doll from the packaging and paid no attention to what was written. Even families with LGBT members would probably need to have discussion with the child to address that aspect of Ms. Cox's life, although honestly, I saw no need to do that myself-- to us, it is just another pretty doll (and mabye that is the real messge here). I suspect this doll will be more collectible among certain adults than little girls.

Beautiful and stylish, but challenging to unbox

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall appearance of the packaging was clean and simple, which makes it great to keep on display. However, toys are meant to be opened and played with. Unboxing this doll with my daughter proved to be a little challenging. There are too many twist-ties and taped down tabs to unwind and and undo to free her from the box. Outside the difficult unboxing experience, my daughter enjoyed playing with the doll and marveled at the toy’s beauty and outfit.

Real life looking, flexible, toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved this barbie! She loved the dance aspect of it as she is a dancer herself. The doll iself was great! Hand movements; leg movements; etc. Only issue we had was it didnt seem to come with the pole to hold the doll up after play, but it did come with the stand and waste piece. But she played for hours and still carries it around. Great toy, eould purchase again!

A beautiful Collectible Doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is absolutely beautiful, comes in a very presentable box to display on your shelf for collectors and show it to your friends and family, the box allows you to see the shape and colors. It's a very fashionable doll with a beautiful clothing, earrings, nice hair and very shiny outfit under dress. I think is very good for the people who like Barbie and who like collect dolls all of ages.

Too nice to take out of the box.

She has it displayed in her room because it’s just so beautiful! Barbie did a great job on this doll & I’m so happy to have the first transgender Barbie! Thank you for being inclusive!
