Great dryer but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me began with the fact that I really, really wanted to love this dryer. It’s beautiful, matches my awesome washer(see review) has so many great settings to choose from, large capacity and even has a steam setting which I use daily but….the dryer sensor must be super sensitive because it doesn’t dry my load fully. There is ways around it, such as simply drying a second time or utilizing the “Timed Dry” setting. But as a busy mom and wife this is an extra step and extra time that I honestly sometimes don’t have to spare. Again, it is a great dryer but could be better!

EXCELLENT DRYER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is absolutely the best dryer I've ever owned. It's the match to my new Samsung washer and has all the settings I wanted and need to get everyone's laundry done. The steam dry is my favorite setting and use it each time. The dryer is so quiet that I never know when it's done except for the beautiful sounding bells and my phone. I did pair it in my smart things app which was extremely easy and I get all my notifications on my phone for my Samsung washer and dryer. I also really love the elegant design of my dryer with a touch of gold on black. I'm so happy with both my Samsung washer and dryer and I definitely recommend them for everyone. Doing laundry now for me does not feel like a chore anymore.

Great for busy folks

This dryer has lots of settings for different types of things you’re drying. I love the fluff option and use it not just towels, as it’s intended, but for blankets too. My favorite feature is its WiFi connectivity and Smart Things function. I can see how much time is left without having to set a timer or physically going to check… but the best is its ‘prevents wrinkles’ feature. Just turn it on and for up to three hours after the cycle is done it will occasionally do a quick tumble to keep clothes fluffy and wrinkle free. Love it!!! Oh, and can’t forget about the light inside the drum. It’s such a great thing to have because now you’ll never leave something behind because you didn’t see it in there. Didn’t expect for it to light up when I opened the door but this tiny thing is such a huge highlight for this dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful Timesaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why did we wait so long to upgrade!? With a growing family, comes a growing mound of laundry. Our previous dryer would take three 60-minute cycles to dry the laundry, with this new beauty, and I mean B-E-A-UTY, its all dry within one cycle. We can now run our washer and dryer at the same time and rotate loads as we go. We’ve gone from taking several days to get through the laundry to just a few loads in half a day. This ultimately means more family time and less chore time. And even more impressive is in those tight moments where you forgot to wash the baby’s sleep sack for the night you can run a wash and dry cycle in under an hour with its Super Speed setting. One of my favorite aspects of the new smart washer and dryer is the ability to connect it through Samsung SmartThings. Not only do we now get notified on our phones of the washer and or dryer cycles complete, but since we also have a Samsung Frame TV that’s also in the SmartThings ecosystem, we get a notification there as well! Not only do we not forget it in the dryer, and it get all wrinkly, even if we do it has an anti-wrinkle setting that will occasionally toss the load a bit to prevent wrinkles every few minutes until you do get to it. We’ve also taken advantage of our first set of dual front-load units by getting the extra stacking kit. It was very easy to attach and now our basement laundry room has more space for our ever-expanding children’s storage. Once stacked, the displays are linked so you can run the washer and the dryer from the lower washer unit without having to stretch to the top. If you’ve been on the fence about upgrading your current setup, you cannot go wrong with the gorgeous set. My only complaint is that it is just too good looking for our storage style basement laundry room.

Steam Refresh is the best feature!

My absolute favorite feature is the steam refresh cycle. I have a lot of clothing items that I only wear half of the year, and they tend to get a musty smell from sitting for 6 months or more. I just throw them in the dryer on the steam refresh mode, and viola! They come out smelling fresh and all the wrinkles are gone!!! An absolute wonder!!

Perfect Modern Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a premium drying machine appliance, you've found it. From just the sleek looks alone you gather immediately that this is the current pinnacle of laundry appliances. It's got 12 different preset cycles, including steam refresh and sanitize options which take out even the toughest of wrinkles and odors, a speed dry that will dry a full load in 30 minutes, and sensor drying integrated so the dryer will stop when it senses the laundry is dry, which must actually work because I've had some loads finish quicker than the estimated time cycle, now have I ever pulled out any clothing or bedding that was still damp. Large 7.5 Cu Ft Capacity so you can really maximize laundry time. It may seem weird to praise but the lint filter is really convenient where it's placed (front bottom of the drum) and really easy to clean. There's also a vent sensor that will notify you if you need to clean the vents, which can prevent fire hazards or even just inefficient drying.
My absolute favorite feature is the 'Prevent Wrinkles' setting which will run a couple minutes of a low heat cycle periodically, on its own, for up to a maximum of 3 hours after a cycle has complete so that your clothes do not sit there gathering wrinkles if you delay pulling them out right away, which I am constantly guilty of. There is also a 'Damp Alert' feature that will notify you when clothes are at the perfect dampness for Ironing for those of you with many dress Shirts. The dryer can also be controlled from your washing machines interface, in case you choose to stack them, assuming you have paired it with the Samsung matching washer. Once you link them via the smart things app, you can even control via your phone instead of the dryers machine dial. There are 5 different dryness settings and 5 temperature settings and the dryer will alert you via phone notifications when your cycle is complete, in case you do not hear the musical song it plays when it has finished. Pair this with the matching washing machine from Samsung and you can have an entire load washed and dried in just under an hour, and the results this dryer machine put out are phenomenal. Cleanest clothes I've ever had in the shortest amount of time. Amazing laundry appliance and must consider if you're in the market for top of the line appliances.
