I bought it a month ago and, I have to say, I’m VERY impressed. It’s so easy to use and doesn’t cause any discomfort whatsoever. In fact, I couldn’t feel it at all. It’s so wonderful that I’ve been telling all my female friends and family about it (they probably think I’m crazy now haha). If you haven’t gotten one yet, do so. You won’t regret it!
I bought this and was actually excited for my cycle to try it. Works well. Holds well during work. A little messy no matter what when you go to take it out. So much better than tampons or pads. You forget it's there. I will say with sex it did spill over so watch that. Will try again.
I have been using menstrual cups for over a decade. I was interested in the ziggy disc because it promised no suction and a larger capacity than my usual menstrual cup. The good news is it works great! There is a bit of a learning curve but in my opinion the disc is easier and more foolproof than the cup. The capacity thing didn’t work out though. Everything is all squished up in there and it’s not much different than a cup with regard to capacity. But hands free emptying is a thing and I experienced little to no leaking. I will try again next month but so far so good!
This cup was so easy to use and extremely comfortable once in. I was worried about figuring out how to get it in vs. A normal cup because that took me a while to get used to. But the Ziggy cup insertion process was so much smoother. The only thing I found difficult was insertion while I was cramping. Even with relaxing the muscles were just too tight and the cup is flexible enough that I couldn't just push it in like I had the first time while not cramping. Otherwise I liked it a lot and had a very easy time using it.
I’ve had my Ziggy cup for about 3 months and it does work for times you want to be intimate. It is a bit messier than my other cup so I use it for the light days. It would have gotten a 5 star if I can ever figure out how to keep the mess minimal, the tips have not been a help for me. It does take some getting use to to fit correctly but once it does you can’t feel it at all. I love that it also doesn’t create waste like other products similar to it.
I bought this just over a month ago after having my IUD inserted I've been bleeding for days and days and this finally allowed me to have mess free days with out pads or tampons. I found it took a bit to learn how to put it in and take out, I recommend watching the demonstration videos but once in you can't feel it. I really didn't like diva or Luna cup. This is so, so, so much more comfortable. Not even in the same ball park.
I found this cup comfortable and easy to use as someone who has used disposable discs in the past. I think there might be a bit of an initial learning curve if you have never used a disc before as it has a flexible lip and there is a front and back to the cup. This shouldn’t discourage you though, just be mindful it might take some practice. I have typically very heavy flows and wore this overnight without leaks, and as an avid runner it held up to my distance workouts.
