New favourite

I’ve been using cups since I was 16 and this is my new favourite, doesnt feel like its ‘slipping out’ like others do if I’m really heavy. Although I dont recommend it for beginners as you need to figure out exactly where it sits for it to work. For me, it works best if you try and angle it slightly down ( towards tailbone) when youre putting it in to make sure youve got past your cervix, then I push it back as far in / back as I can until the rim bounces a little so I know its all the way back, then push the front of the rim as far up towards your stomach) as it will go and its perfect. I have to change it a lot less often than other cups and feels more secure ( as long as you have it the right way in! There is a front and a back, the ‘deeper’ part of the cup is the back that needs to go in first )
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic for period sex

I usually use a traditional menstrual cup, but I got this specifically for period sex, and it works! The insertion/removal is pretty uncomfortable but maybe I'm just not used to it yet, however once it's in you can't feel it, and you really can have mess free sex. My partner is quite well endowed so I thought it would cause some discomfort for me or both of us, but absolutely no discomfort during sex whatsoever. Very very happy with this product

Hardly notice I’m having my period

I’ve had this for a couple years. At the beginning I sometimes put it in wrong and it would leak. I’ve learned to feel what’s going on better in terms of it being properly sealed around my cervix now so that doesn’t happen.
Sometimes I can only wear it for a few days.
It can be hard to get out. Again, I’ve learned how to do this, so it hasn’t gotten stuck in a long time. I did have a few times early on which freaked me out a bit. It took me 10 minutes to get it out. Once I had to get my boyfriend to get it out. That was kind of funny.
If you are going to have sex while wearing it, it’s awesome, but I recommend emptying it right before, especially if you are bleeding fairly heavily. Otherwise I found it could leak/dislodge.
My daughter hasn’t been sold on it because she has very long nails and I agree that it probably won’t work if you do. Particularly the getting out part.
Also, I tried the Diva cup in the past and found it very painful. I have a tilted uterus so it would poke me. I couldn’t use it. This is totally comfortable.
Overall I love it.

I'll start by saying I've been searching for a tampon alternative for almost 10 years now. The diva like cups hurt, sea sponges didn't keep me from leaking, and flex like cups hurt when removing and always seemed to leak. This is it gals. The holy grail of period cups. The flexible ring doesn't hurt during insertion or removal at all for me. I had zero leaks since I could insert it to the correct placement with no pain. Sanitization was a breeze. You do have to get used to, for lack of a better phrase, possibly getting your hands dirty, but if you don't tilt it during removal, it's as simple and dump and rinse and you're good to go. Well worth the price for a reusable cup!

I bought this for my wife (I’m an OBGYN)… she was very skeptical, but now uses it instead of tampons on her heavy flow days. She says its very comfortable and easy to seat in place

I have tried regular cups and due to my low cervix they always hurt. Now with the ziggy I don't have to worry about it hurting and worry less about leaking! The mess free sex is great as well! ;)

Amazing wish I had tried sooner !

I have tried 2 other branded cups and struggled with them and had discomfort On inserting and also removing due to suction so avoided them. Had been umming on arring on the ziggy as didn’t want to waste more money but I’m so glad I eventually ordered! Bit nervous on first time getting it in as it feels too big to fit but then just sort of clicked into place behind my pubic bone as stated ! I did Worry on removing but was so much easier than others, Ovbsly over a toilet or in the shower as Can be a bit messy and was a bit of a shock from using tampons but soon get used to it ! I think it’s a great investment

Great Alternative

I got this because I have an IUD and I feel like I never stop bleeding or am spotting all the time, which makes it annoying for sex reasons. I used this for one cycle and I generally have very heavy flow and horrible cramps. This did not leak, it is easy to take out and can not be felt while wearing it. I do have some difficulty getting it in, as it is less stiff than the disposable ones I had used prior, so it’s almost like a 2 hand operation for me. Also, if you’re worried about a mess removing it, this will certainly make one, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you had to change it in public, I haven’t had any disc that I was able to remove without it getting literally all over the one hand. That being said I only do it at home and that solves the problem for me, still better than single use period products. As for sex, my partner said he could feel it, but it didn’t bother him. I remove it and rinse it out before we do that so I start with it empty to minimize the chance of blood getting all over if it were to come loose. I have no had luck with the “self emptying” function I keep seeing people refer to, mine does not leak when I use the restroom, it forms quite the suction that I have to break with my finger to remove every time, so I don’t know if that’s something that happens for everyone, as it doesn’t seem to happen for me, which I am fine with regardless. All in all, I would recommend, I don’t think it is advanced or difficult to use, just takes a little practice at first. If I had one thing to really complain about it would be the packaging, I bought it because I prefer something that makes a small impact, this packaging is out of control, it could literally be in an easily recycled box like most of the others come in, there is no need for the huge plastic container.
