I was a tampon user and now that I have this Ziggy cup I’m wishing I bought it sooner! I put it off for ages and honestly I don’t know why. My partner has a big issue with blood so period sex was either totally off the cards or we had shower sex instead. With the Ziggy cup or sex life doesn’t need to take a vacay every month! He doesn’t feel it, neither do i. And it’s clean. No towel needed! I’ve told everyone that they need to buy one. The best thing about the Ziggy cup though is how little you have to think about it. I don’t even realise I’m on my period. I changed the cup in the morning when I woke up in the shower and then again when I had a shower in the evenings. Pad users see your blood every time you pee! Tampon users have the awful job of pulling one out every couple of hours. With this it’s no leaks no rubbish! Love love love!

Absolutely need this.

I bought mine a month ago and absolutely love this disc. I have tried the disposable Flex disc once before and liked those as well. This disc is nice due to being able to wash, reuse, and cuts cost of period products down. Easy to insert, remove and dont even notice its there.

Too big for me

I was looking for something softer and a bit smaller than the Flex or the Soft cup but this was the exact same size. The deal breaker for me was the rim on the Ziggy cup is even thicker than the others which were already about a half centimeter too big for me. I tried several times but I could not get it to fit in place. If they ever come out with a new design or a smaller size I'd definitely try again.

I was quite sceptical at the beginning, but after endless recommendations I had to try it, I have to say wow! What an experience! Who knew that mess free period sex was a real thing! Thank you for your marvellous invention!

The disk didn't leak at all as my cup did. I bought it so that I could have sex on my period without... ya know... having to cover all of my furniture with plastic. I was able to have sex on my heaviest day without a drop of blood in sight! I bought this mainly for that *cool* feature, but I've been wearing it throughout my day as well and I like it better than a cup. I've had no issue with leaking (as I did with the cup) and the lack of suction makes it a LOT easier to remove and reinsert than the cup.
From what I can see, this company claims that its products are beneficial for the environment because they produce less waste than disposable menstrual disks, pads, and/or tampons. This is awesome and I completely agree! - but they also send the disk in a big thick plastic container that cannot be reused for anything. It's hard to agree that this company has eco-friendliness in mind when I have to throw away enough thick plastic to hit me over the head and knock me out with just to get one little product (a little dramatic but it's seriously a lot of plastic). This plastic packaging was damaged when it arrived so I can't imagine that it would actually protect the product (which is already made out of durable silicone). I really hope to see them change this to a smaller paper/cardboard box.
Other than that: This cup is extremely high quality and I think that the cute pink colour will help hide any staining over long time use (which I know is completely normal but I can't help be a little put off by it :/ ). I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone for which the cup doesn't work for them and anyone who doesn't want to be completely anxious about making a mess with period sex. For real, I saw no blood. I only feel like they are producing more waste than they are preventing so I hope they do better in the future and just use a little paper box like many many other companies are doing right now.

Can’t feel it and no leaks!

Just wow! Total game changer! Have tried a few cups and thought I loved the Lily cup but still leaked a bit so wanted to try a different style... this is a total game changer. Cannot feel it AT ALL and have zero leaks. Was slightly concerned about how to fit it but it was sooooo easy. Going to be recommending this to everyone!

It’s different

I’ve never used a menstrual cup before so this is my first go. I bought one last night and it’s difficult to put in. I’m trying to put it in as far I could but I can still feel it and it’s not moving further. It’s as if it’s aligned with the canal. My thumb can still feel the edge. Could anyone give me tips on what I’m doing wrong?

Sooooo much nicer than the other silicone menstrual discs that I have tried! Inserts very smoothly and easy to remove if you're used to discs. The double edge makes it feel very sturdy/stuck in place.
