I love my ziggy cup. I've had it for about a year and it is just fantastic. I have a *really* tilted uterus, such that my cervix is sometimes almost flush against the side of my vaginal canal. If yours is similar, you can still use a ziggy! What I do is insert my ziggy sideways and bring it alongside my cervix, then I bear down while twisting it back upright, which will curve it beneath. By my second period, I was able to get it in place first try about 4/5 times, and a year later I'm at about 9/10 times. At any rate, this was a concern for me when I purchased my ziggy since other types of cups have not fit in the past, and so I wanted to pass on the advice to others who might be a bit worried if it'll work in their body. The Ziggy Cup really is a "fix it and forget it" product. Once it's placed in the morning and evening, you can just go about your day on light and medium flow days. Heavy flow, you do have to empty it, but overall the convenience and comfort is just so much more than disposable products. So good luck!

Like many of us i wanted an alternative to pads and tampons as I hate wearing them and I hate the waste that they cause. Not to mention the cost! This was the first menstrual disc I tried and it only took one cycle to get used to it! I was very skeptical about having a disc so far up there, thought it would be painful to remove but if you just relax and even bear down a little (I almost always empty mine in the shower which I find helpful so I can squat real low) you should be able to hook your finger on the rim easily and pull it right out. I did try menstrual cups to see how those felt compared to a disc and honestly after 2 different cups (not from intimina) I am back to my Ziggy! Cups just aren't comfortable to me but maybe intimina has one for me. Ziggy is reliable though, it gets me through the day, workouts, swimming, sleeping etc I love it!

Love it, though I was having difficulty getting it in ..( I’m not one that reads instructions) but then I realized I was inserting it backwards. All good now. Switched from the flex discs ...
I’m happy with this product, it’s comfortable and I experienced les cramping. I wore period underwear as a back up and everything was great - even on my heaviest day.
It's great with a liner! The problem for me is that the cup is asymmetrical. The opening had an egg like oval shape. The instructions never mentioned this unique shape so I didn't know which way it was supposed to go. It turns out for me that both ways do not work for me! I did not experience leaks with softcup discs or divacup, which have round/circular openings. I also had some discomfort with insertion due to the size. I like the honeycomb texture and the color, it hides any discoloration that I've observed from other brands and types of menstrual cups as well.
Love this. Cleanest menstrual solution I've ever tried...no dirty tampon strings, no messy pads. I wore a pantiliner for the first couple days until I was sure I had the hang of it. No leaks! Product was easy to insert. Took me a couple tries to make sure it was all the way inserted but really, you just push it back. No way to lose it in there. Was able to use it overnight, in a tub, during sex, etc. My partner had no idea it was in there until I brought it up. It made the sex a little less pleasurable for me sensation-wise, but far MORE pleasurable than if I wasn't using it.
This is great. Easy to apply and you even forget it's there. It did make a little bit of a mess to remove as I struggle to grip the edges to pull, but definitely a great product. My only concern is the 8h limit as I know of other products that can stay up to 12h. The 8h limitation makes me wary of sleeping too long.

Life Changer

I’ve always had horrible periods, heavy bleeding, terrible cramps, and have spent so much money on jumbo pads and super tampons. I had also tried some menstrual cups, but since I have vaginismus I could not tolerate them. But once I found the ziggy cup, it was immediate life changer. It is easily inserted, can be worn up to twelve hours (even with a heavy flow) with almost no leaks! Helps with the cramping and isn’t felt once inserted. Removal takes some practice, but is not difficult. Only downside is the removal is messy but since it can be worn up to 12 hours, removal can be most of the time in the comfort of your own bathroom. I’ve been able to go about my day almost forgetting I’m on my period. I still go to the gym and do my spin class, workout, run, swim, and participate in any activity I want to (that I normally avoided during my period). It’s easily washed and has already saved me so much money that I normally spent on box after box of tampons that aren’t healthy for your body anyways. this product facilitates a healing relationship between a strong woman and her amazing body. I’m so thankful for it. Highly recommend.
