I cannot give it a 5 star because it makes a weird sound when the oven is preheating but over all is a great range for the price I did a great research before purchase and i did not disappoint. The stainless steel look fits right in with my stainless kitchen.

Only used the oven twice and it squeaks heating up. not constsnt. Sounds tinning. Purchased this stove so I could can. Read a person's comment on Facebook. She commented that she just bought a GE stove to can and was informed could not. I've not read the manual. But hoping not true. Another thing can't use foil on drop can't use foil in bottom of stove. Can't find his can't do thst. I'm surprised you can cook on it. Sad I didn't do my job of researching. Another thing my age has nothing to do with purchasing this stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

They will monitor the temperature of the food you are preparing and will shut off and turn back on regularly to maintain safe cooking temperatures. They also require the use of completely flat cookware to operate properly. EASY TO OPERATE.

I WAS IN TEARS GIVING UP MY 1951 TAPPAN GAS 40 INCHES WIDE WHICH I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL BUT MY NEW GE RANGE IS GREAT AT AGE 62 THIS IS SO EASY TO USE WITH COMFORT.

I had to replace my range due to my last one being destroyed in a flood. I love the new one. It preheats quickly and i love the burners.

Gets the Job Done

It doesn't have many bells and whistles and that's what I was looking for. Sometimes, the more the frills, the more that can go wrong. The oven comes to temp pretty fast. It's an inexpensive stove, but gets the job done.
