Like the range but the bottom drawer is flimsy. We wanted to get away from the ceramic tops.

It does the basics but burners move too much and seem like they could break off

Very basic and cheap

I think the biggest or most common complaint about these stoves are the "Sensi-Temp" burners technollogy. So here is my review. I just received this stove a few days ago and had no idea about this tech....until I noticed the buttons on the burners. Of course I read the blurb and reviews and viewed the tech with a jaundiced eye. so once the stove was installed I did a quick test. Large pot filled with 14 cups/3.5 quarts of room temperature tap water. It took 10 minutes 4 seconds to bring the water to a complete rolling boil, and I kept the pot on the burner at a rolling boil until the 18 minute mark with not drops in temp or boil. The next day I then substituted an old-style coil without the Sensi-Temp tech from a friends stove and re-did the same test using the same pot and amount of water...8 minutes 18 seconds to a rolling boil. I don't consider the roughly 2 minute difference between the very important. I used a very flat-bottomed aluminum non-stick pot, based on the GE ruler parameter. I only tested the front-right burner position and have not tested the oven itself yet. As for the build quality...for the price it was fine. I do notice that the quality and thickness of the steel used is far far thinner than was used just a few years ago. The bottom pan drawer is really cheap and shoddy, very thin and twists easily compared to the same model from a few years ago. So at this point it looks like the Sensi-Tech isn't a deal breaker for me but time and more use will tell.

Great stove

Very satisfied with delivery. The had my stove hooked up in minutes, and delivery guys very friendly. They were very knowledgeable about appliance. My first dinner turned out awesome. Takes a little longer to heat up, but I think that's a good thing. The food cooked perfectly! Perfect sive. Overall I love my new stove!

I wanted to get rid of my glasstop from another company, too many problems. I wrote to GE and let them know what I was looking for which was a lot. Had to be electric, coil top, no glass and match the existing stainless already in my kitchen. They made a few recommendations. I settled on this model and am thrilled. It heats evenly. The stove top has no glass but has that black glass look. This is in keeping with my other aplliances. I couldn't be happier. I also purchased the extended warrenty which was very reasonable.
