not the quality product that GE used to be

I have been concerned about how hot the top gets when the oven is on. Also do not care for the safety burners. You can not fry anything like potatoes because the burner keeps shutting of and you end up with soggy potatoes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a stove. Takes a while to pre-heat. I don't like the temperature control.

I've been cooking on a glass top range for 8 years and I think its impossible to clean them. Now I have a normal range that cleans in a couple minutes. Simple great working controls that need no computer science class to figure out. I love my new range.

range takes some getting use to working stove eyes do ok but the oven takes so long to preheat, put it on 450 for pizza toke over 30 minutes before preheated

Exactly what we wanted

We previously had a glass-top stove that had issues with scratching and heating very slowly. We decided to go with this stove, as it was an electric with a traditional burner, and we weren't disappointed. It pre-heats twice as fast as our old stove, and the burners heat very fast as well. It's very easy to clean too.
