oven venting in room

don't like the way the oven vents into the room heat comes off too much trying to understand why the vents are even there,,, other than that the product looks great works great ,,,,love the way the oven cooks evenly and thru good looking product for the money

Nice stove

With both my wife and myself being retired this stove perfect for us. Our last stove was a GE also and was 33 years old and was still working great. We just needed to upgrade our kitchen.

No need for fancy bits.

Happy with this stove so far. The coils heat up much faster than my flat top did. I like the sunken well design of the top, so that spills don't fall down the sides of the stove. Inside oven temp seems spot on...measured with a separate thermometer. I'm not a gourmet cook but I do okay and this is the workhorse type of stove that I needed. Nothing fancy, just sensible. Two points they could make better. One of the larger coils could be just a bit larger in diameter. Also, on older stoves I've had I don't remember the top becoming warm when the oven is on....but this one does. Has something changed in design or do I not remember my old stove (pre-flat top) correctly? Otherwise, I am happy with the product.

Basic no-nonsense stove

So far I am quite pleased with my purchase. This is a basic no frills stove that does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to operate even without reading the manual.
