Fluctuations in heating

I do not like the fluctuations in burner temperatures. I do home canning and need a consistent temperature which the included burners do not provide.

Looks good if you don’t turn ON

The purchased oven replaced a 1978 GE because the oven temperature would not meet the setting. Each day I regret buying the new oven.
When setting oven temperature, the entire outside body of the stove heats up as does the burners.The outside could BURN a SMALL CHILD. There must be very little insulation as the oven also heats up the kitchen at least 7-10 degrees.
If one places a hand on the front left corner the top moves up and down. Found out that the entire top has to be removed to clean below area under the burners.
Oh, watch the burner if it’s set on High.

Nothing wrong with the basics!!

My wife hated her glass top stove and loves having regular burners again. They are a little slow warming up, but that's OK. The stove is simple and works as it should without a bunch of whistles and bells to go wrong.
