Awful Temperature Sensing Coils

The new temperature sensing technology in the rang is awful! Apparently whoever mandated this don't cook. Unlike gas or induction, electric range coils to not react quickly when turning off and on so it can't maintain consistent temperature throughout the cooking process. Therefore I can't deep fry or stew or can. Even boiling water is problematic. I understand this technology is used not just in GE products. This is just awful!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great stove but it has issues!!!

I love my stove. The problem is both large burners get hot to the point of red hot!!! Now one of my small burners is jumping hot. Also the light in the oven does not work. I've changed that bulb 3 times. It works for about a month then out again.

I'm still getting use to it as far as establishing the correct oven degree. This stove replaced a GE stand alone range with the knob to adjust ddegrees rather than the touch pad. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting use to.
