I love this stove/oven. simple design, easy to use. I am not a gourmet chef so I didn't need a bunch of buttons I was never going to use. This is perfect!

Falling apart after one week

We noticed the the front of the stove door started to come unglued after one week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oh no! We're awfully sorry to hear that the stove door has started to come off. We can definitely understand how aggravating that is. This is an issue that would require a service call since it deals with assembly of the door. We would recommend scheduling a service appointment under warranty.

Everything works well besides the lack of insulation inside the oven. If oven is on, the top and around the stove is super hot to the touch

At first was a little concerned about the sensor coil tops but they boiled water fine and they heat up very quickly. The first time I use the oven the temperature read a little bit low on my manual thermometer, but it turns out that the thermometer was off: that's why I ended up boiling water to test my thermometer and it read low on there also. I also liked that I could adjust the temperature plus or minus 35 degrees and I moved it up about 10 degrees but once I saw the thermometer was off I put it back to where it was from the factory. Really like the stove and it looks great! The drawer is bigger than my last stove, holds a broiler pan flat where I used to have to tilt it. I wanted a clock so went for the slightly higher pricerd model over the only knobs unit. But I'll tell you what the clock is so bright I can see my shadow in the hall away from the kitchen!!
