Not a fan of the SENSI-TEMP TECHNOLOGY

The Sensi-Temp Technology is a safety feature on the coil top stoves. It is designed to reduce the risk of grease fires and oil spillovers by decreasing the temperature or shutting the unit down. This might be fine for an inexperienced cook or child. But for a Chef, this does not work. I was thoroughly disappointed; and when trying to fry you need that continous high temperature to crisp the food. I am so not pleased and after 1 week; it has to go. Definitely does not fit my skills as a Chef.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would never buy this again

Oven does not come up to temp, so I have to set it 25 degrees higher. Outer "stainless steel" is cheap and shows spots and fingerprints easily. the problem is I don't like glass topped stoves and this coil burner top was one of only two the store carried. Plus it took 4 months to get here because of every covid excuse in the book. I should have looked elsewhere for a proper range.

Not user friendly at all

This model is not user friendly. The Sensi-temp technology is very poorly designed and total failure . I used electric stove for 37 years and there is no problem of fire. Because of few people carelessness all other people has to suffer. I hate when coil cycles on and off. The enamel coating is also not good. It is almost impossible to remove the stain. I am GE fan but this time I am disappointed.

HAS NO OVEN KNOB

Was very disappointed after delivery when I went to use oven and there was no Oven know. I never heard of such a thing! Direction sheet supplied to use oven was Not descriptive enough to easily make oven work. Sadly disappointed.

Note: To turn the oven on, press the bake pad and then set the temperature. To set the temperature, press the + and - on your controls and then press the start pad to turn the oven on.

My GE range was set up on June 30, 2021. I have only used it about 10 times because we have not been around. The oven and stove top already do not work!! Can't believe it! I don't understand why this will not just be replaced instead of being repaired since it is so new.
