Light, easy to use, efficient

I bought this to deal with daily cleaning of litter tracking. We have vinyl plank flooring throughout, and this vacuum fits my needs perfectly. I empty the canister daily because it's so easy to do so. The vacuum swivels everywhere it needs to go with plenty of power. This is for small jobs, not for vacuuming your entire house. The YouTube video on installing the charger on the wall further simplified my life. The vacuum is always charged when I need it. This product is a boon for this arthritis sufferer. Well done, Dyson, and thank you.

Great for one year

Great for the first year, ok during the second, after 2 years it doesn't work at all. Disappointing for such an expensive product.

Very capable but not perfect

After a few weeks of use, I've been happy overall with this vacuum. It does a great job picking up cat hair, dust, and crumbs from wood and cement floors. The only real negatives are the battery life (could be bigger) and the power head size (could be a bit larger). Using the high power mode is ideal, especially for cat litter and heavier dirt, but that really drains the battery quickly. The omnidirectional power head movement and soft rollers spinning in opposite directions (push everything to the central suction port) are both excellent design features. Value for dollar, I would definitely buy this unit again.

I absolutely love this machine!

I have a large house with mostly laminate wood flooring, and four long haired cats. Not to mention the dirt which gets tracked in from our somewhat muddy, very rural, property. I have several vacuums including an older Dyson Ball which I like very much, but nothing beats the Omni-Glide for a quick pickup of cat hair, dropped kitchen bits, and the fluff from the multiple cat (scratching) trees in our house. I also have two robotic vacuums. You'd think I was well covered, but this lightweight gem lets me do touch up cleaning in a few minutes without dragging out the big boys or activating the robots. I just love it. I'm a small woman of 76 years, and the easy glide and marvelous turning radius is a boon. No complaints at all.

Disappointed

This is my third Dyson vacuum purchase. I was obviously very satisfied with my first two vacuums-a corded canister and the cordless V11-but the Omni Glide is very disappointing. I bought it because I have all wood floors and wanted it for quick pick-ups between regular cleaning. Pet hair collects on the felt "bumpers" that edge the rotating bars and tangles in the wheels. I spend as much time scraping off the collected hair as I do in actually vacuuming.

Our most compact machine, the Omni-glide™ is ideal for smaller homes and apartments, or for quick pick-ups around the home. The omni-directional soft roller head allows you to pick up debris and pet hair from your hard-floor surfaces. There are felt bumpers and tiny wheels on the bottom of the head where pet hair or debris can accumulate. We do recommend using a part of tweezers to remove this debris or hair before it's able to accumulate, to make its removal easier. If you are finding that it's gathering each time you clean, you may wish to clean that each time you use the machine to ensure it's not able to build up and cause further issues down the road. The worst Dyson I own

I have 2 Dyson's and I thought this one would be perfect for my third floor since it's all hardwood up there. This has horrible suction for dog hair, it will roll right over it and not pick it up, the tank holds next to nothing, and it clogs at the base every single time I use it. I am so disappointed in this purchase and I love Dyson everything. Save your money and buy a different model.

There are two suction modes, and boost power will provide a needed burst of suction for those tougher cleaning jobs. The dust cup on this model is fairly small, as the machine itself is a small, compact model designed for use in smaller homes or apartments. Do not recommend

Save your money and avoid buying. It’s fun to use but the canister is comically small. I’m attempting to return mine after two weeks - Dyson makes you put in a return request. Definitely not worth the money. I have had a corded Dyson vacuum for 5 years and LOVE it. Shocked that both vacuums are from the same company. Very disappointed I wasn’t my time on this vacuum.
