This vacuum is amazing on hardwood and tile floors. It's small pivot heads gets into so many spaces, I hardly need to move anything.

Very disappointed in Dyson

Basically a good product but almost immediately the lower unit attachment failed. Dyson was notified on multiple occasions. Dyson did not replace the part and it would not even let me buy the replacement part. The warranty is a bad joke an Dyson acts like it couldn’t care less.

Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with your Dyson Omni-glide. I did locate your account in our system and it looks like you initially contacted us with an issue of pet hair accumulating in the wheels on the bottom of your cleaner head. At that time, this part was out of stock; it's not that you weren't allowed to order the part - the part could not be ordered as there was no stock available at the time of contact.
Regarding the hair caught around the tiny wheel on your cleaner head, we've found that a pair of tweezers is the perfect size to remove those hairs. You'll want to be sure to check your machine, generally, I recommend after each time you vacuum, to remove any hairs wrapped around those wheels or the larger brush bar. They are typically easier to remove when there are just a few present.

We have a pet the sheds a lot. It pick all the hair up from our hardwood and tile floors. Works as advertised.

Worst of the dyson vacuums

I have several dyson vacuums and this one is the only one I hate. It does glide beautifully. However the bin is TINY and i hate that when i empty it, the trash doesnt fall out of the bin like with other dysons. It doesnt get ejected. It gets stuck. I HAVE to grab the hairs and dust with my hand and toss it in the trash. Will definitely keep purchasing Dyson Vacuums but this one was a disappointment.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're not enjoying your Dyson Omni-glide. This is definitely a smaller, more compact machine, and as such the floor tool and dust cup are significantly smaller as well. You may find that you are needing to empty that more often then when using other machines. You will also want to ensure that dust/debris are emptied before it's able to accumulate beyond the max fill line. That will help to make sure that dust doesn't fill in the upper portion of the bin so you have to manually remove things from the bin.
