This Could Be Love!!

Yes, I am in love with our new Dyson Omni-glide! We have 1,500 sq. ft. of hardwood flooring in our main floor greatroom and we use our Omni-glide every day. My husband and I have been enjoying it for 5 months now and both of us think it is perfect for our needs. We have a sweet Rat Terrier, Gidget, and even though she's small, she sheds like a Husky! We both vacuum with our Omni-glide at least once a day to get up Gidget's hair, as well as dust, from the hardwood floor. We also use it throughout the day to vacuum up crumbs from cooking and eating around the kitchen island and dining table. The Omni-glide's maneuverability is crazy wonderful! Vacuuming around chair and table legs and the stairs is a breeze. I am also able to vacuum all the way under our sofas and coffee table! No more dust bunnies here! I love using the duster attachment for baseboards, window sills, and tabletops. In addition, the Onmi-glide is small, lightweight, and simple to empty. It's easy to charge and holds a charge very well. We keep it charging all the time so it's always ready to use. We still have our Dyson V8 Absolute for vacuuming our area rugs and basement carpeting.

Apartment Full of Flooring Must Have

If you have flooring through out your apartment, you need this. Super light weight and small footprint.

Omni-glide - AMAZING

Possibly my favorite Dyson product that I have purchased which is saying a lot considering the wide range of products we have purchased over the years. Extremely light weight, easy to maneuver, and picks up everything!!! For hardwood floors this is worth every penny and more!!!

I have both the Omni-glide and V10. The Omni-glide is so much more maneuverable then the V10.

Bit of a disappointment

I really wanted to love this product but couldn't. Got it as a gift and didn't open it till 5 months after so we weren't able to exchange it. I am a huge fan of dyson- we own 2 vacumm cleaners ( v8 & v10) ; as well as the air purifier and air wrap.
Was super excited for this product but its alright- battery dies quick and it needs to be emptied more often. For the price point I would recommend just getting v10
It is nice and compact but thats about it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a much smaller unit that our other cord-free machines, great for smaller homes and apartments. Due to its compact size, the bin does have less capacity, just 0.2L. There are two suction modes, which will provide anywhere from 5-20 minutes of run time on a single charge. I am so very impressed with the engineering. Both in terms of function - it deals so well with debris on my tile floors. And how the device fits together so well. Feels like a Glock handgun.

Great vacuum

This was the first Dyson vacuum that I have purchased. I am completely satisfied with it. The Omni-glide works great on my travertine floors. When looking at my floors, they look clean, but then I go over the floor with the Omni-glide and there is a lot of fine dust that is picked up into the dust canister. It is very light weight which makes it easy to maneuver around furniture. When emptying the dust canister, I usually have to pull some of the wands of dust from the canister but this is no big deal. I empty the canister after every use even though there is not much in it. The Omni-glide is very easy to clean.
