Cleaning is no longer a chore!

I purchased my Omni-glide on 4/30/21 and I can't put it down! I have used this machine multiple times a day, looking for a reason to grab it and watch it pick up more than just what is visible to my eyes. The dual soft rollers dust your hard surface flooring and even gets down into groves with the soft brush rolls, along with the no loss of suction Dyson is known for! This machine looks small, but it is powerful! It has the suction that I expect out of my other Dyson stick vacuums. The front and back of the rollers are exposed just enough to dust the bottom of my baseboards, what a PLUS!! The Omni-glide can twist and turn in almost any direction you could imagine and lay flat to get up under chairs tables and beds without having to move these pieces of furniture! If you are looking for something to make your floors look cleaner than just a regular sweeping or vacuuming don't hesitate!! Small and mighty machine with multiple uses! I encourage anyone who has a home with a lot of hard surface flooring to give this machine a try, and Dyson stands behind their 30 day money back guarantee!!!

Great sweeper

I bought the Omni-glide as a sweeper, more than as a vacuum. It does a great job at picking up scattered cat litter and dust, and it's so easy to maneuver. Great against the kick plate and shoe molding. I use it every day - much easier than getting out the vacuum daily AND makes the weekly vacuuming so much easier! Agree with other reviews that the charger feels flimsy, so I'm not putting it on the wall. Would give 4 1/2 stars (if that were an option) for that reason. But I'm very glad I bought it.

Near Perfect

This device became available just when we moved into our condo. Its size was good fit for our downsized lifestyle.
It works great with our vinyl plank floors and bathroom tile. I purchased the brush accessory to clean our rugs.
One wish list accessory item that I hope Dyson will add in the future is a flexible extension hose so I can use this to clean my car.
Also, having a laser brush would be pretty amazing too.

Unique Concept, Not-So Great Execution

We bought the Dyson Omni-glide over one year ago. At first, we loved the ease of use, how it is easy to get under furniture, and swivel in and out of tight spaces. Our home has mostly hardwood floors and we have a yellow lab whose primary traits are sleeping and shedding. We felt the Omni-glide would suit our need for quick daily cleanings. Unfortunately, the rollers don’t like our lab’s hair. Rather than sucking it up, it twists it into braids, which it throws out and away from the vacuum head. The swiveling wheels on the bottom of the head fail to turn and cannot be unstuck no matter what method of cleaning is employed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're glad to hear that in your use this past year, you've found the Omni-glide easy to use and maneuver throughout your home. Regarding the hair getting caught around the tiny wheels on your cleaner head, we've found that a small pair of sewing scissors or tweezers is the perfect size for removing those hairs. You'll want to be sure to check your machine, generally, after each time you vacuum. These hairs are usually going to be much easier to remove when there are just a few present, and they're not able to accumulate.

It does what it says on the tin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for a week and am delighted with it. The unusual design seemed odd at first but it is great for getting into corners and under furniture, light and easy to manoeuvre with a head that goes anywhere and everywhere. My apartment is dust free at last. The Omni buffs up hard floors as well as cleans them leaving a gleaming effect with no effort on my part. The motorised head allowed me to clean my sofa and mattress too which was a great extra. The waste box is small but is so easy to empty that it doesn't seem to matter and allows the overall design to work to its optimum in tight corners. This machine reaches the places other hoovers cannot. It is great fun to use and takes the drudgery out of cleaning properly. The only problem I have is the charging lead and docking unit. The lead came to me already inserted into the docking device and I want to charge the hoover as a mobile phone. The lead will not come out of the docking base despite following instructions from the video.

Dyson Omni glide makes it Fun to Vacuum!

I have a robo-vacuum, but needed a light, easy to use vacuum for quick clean ups. My Neabot is great, but it's not the best for a few targeted pickups on quick notice. It's turned out that it is so easy and handy, that I get sucked into vacuuming from one end of my great room to the other! Love it!!

Ready to like it

Sadly it does not hold a charge. I have other Dyson products and was ready to like it but it is too frustrating to use. They need to improve the charging connectors before o can recommend it
