[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time using this I went to change the floor head back and now the red button is jammed and I’m no longer able to switch them out I don’t know to do with this thing now I have 3 broken Dyson’s

Broke After 4 Months

I ordered this from a large retailer in March. We don’t have pets, barely used it…and now it makes a revving sound and quits. No way to service it. For the price, I truly cannot recommend it.

The pulsing or revving noise that you are hearing on your Dyson Omni-glide is not a machine defect, nor is the machine unrepairable. This noise is there to alert you to a blockage within the machine. This is very simple to troubleshoot, with some effective steps you can take right in the home, to locate the blockage and be back on your way to cleaning with your new Dyson. Major Design Flaw - Tiny Wheels

The tiny wheels get clogged with hair and it’s very difficult to clean them out. I use tweezers to remove and it takes a long time and clogs up again with one use. The device is genius in theory and when it is working right it’s great, but if you have someone with long hair in your house, it will be a constant headache.

Regarding the hair getting caught around the tiny wheels on your Omni-glides cleaner head, we've found that a small pair of sewing scissors or tweezers is the perfect size for removing those hairs. You'll want to be sure to check your machine, generally, after each time you vacuum. These hairs are usually going to be much easier to remove when there are just a few present, and they're not able to accumulate. Great Modern Broom!!1

I bought this last fall when we put LVPing down in the whole house. It is so easy to run as it is so light! We have a dog that sheds very fine hair, and this gets it all. This is our 3rd Dyson as still have our original purple Pet, and purple cordless I used for spot cleaning when we had carpet. My husband said that I was just wanting a more modern model of "broom" as I wore my rush one out teaching!!! Dyson rules!!!

I chose dyson thanking that this vacuum will make the difference. But I didn’t. It’s not working on rugs and the sucking power it’s not great.

Great little unit

Bought the Omni-glide for the laminate floors in the new house, it works great and is easy to use. I hope this unit stands up as my DC-17 that's still working after 15+ years.
