Cooks unevenly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a professional home baker, and this oven is killing me. I knew there would be an adjustment period, but after two weeks of daily baking, I am frustrated. If I bake on a rack lower than the middle point of the oven, the bottoms of cakes and cookies burn, even switching pans midpoint, which reduces my productivity because I can’t bake on two racks at a time. I am accustomed to baking 12-5” pans at a time, 6 on each of two racks. With this oven if I put in 6 on the middle rack, leaving at least 2” between each cake and the walls to allow circulation, there are obvious hot spot extremes, so 12 is not sn option, and 6 on one rack don’t do so well either, so my productivity is 1/3 of my old oven Also there is a weird dumpling on the tops of cakes that I have baked hundreds of times in my old oven with a nice dome on the top I need to calibrate the temperature, because the oven cooks “slower” than my old oven, but that issue is easy to adjust to and compensate for. The uneven baking and too hot on the bottom is insurmountable. I love the control panel of this oven, but that’s not enough to overcome the ruined baked goods and productivity loss.

Very disappointed so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My brand new oven looks great but works poorly. I followed the instructions provided and still the oven is not performing as it should and does not heat up to the desired temperature. I contacted the customer care rep and was instructed to reread the instructions and if it is still not working shut the power off at the breaker box to reset the unit. I was also informed that the oven can take about 15 mins to warm up, which I think is a little long but so be it. I followed the instructions again and still it took oven an hour before it came almost close to the desired cooking temp. I will be calling again to see if there is anything else they can do. It’s unfortunate that I have a new unit that I can’t even use.

Functional, fits well in cabinet, looks nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was difficult to find a combo wall oven to fit into the custom cherry cabinet space of our 25 year old wall oven. We also wanted to maintain the black color of our other appliances. This one ‘fit the bill’ though the height of the new oven is about 5” shorter and we need a “custom” trim filler to cover the space. Oven works well, although we have not used the ‘fan convection’ feature yet. Microwave is more powerful than our old one so still getting adjusted to the higher power levels. We are happy with our purchase and hoping this one lasts as long as our old one (25 years until the microwave component failed).

Does the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had one installed before Christmas, and the door made a grinding noise. We had another one installed after the New year, and the door still makes, and feels like a grinding noise, but not as bad as the first one. Also, if we leave the light on in the oven, and when we turn it off, the oven comes on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is very pretty. Love the satin stainless steel. The only problem is fingerprints have to be cleaned off the glass doors, especially the microwave quite often. Love the oven and the controls. Very happy with this purchase.
