Fast, Quiet, Modern Wall Oven/Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wall oven and microwave combo has exceeded my expectations. The oven preheats quickly, runs quietly, and offers a wide range of cooking modes including convection bake, broil, bake, keep warm, and delay start. The touch screen is clean, modern, and intuitive — it makes switching between settings effortless.
While the oven includes a traditional self‑clean option, I recommend avoiding it. Steam cleaning at 450°F or using a gentle baking soda/vinegar paste is a much safer and more effective way to maintain the interior without risking damage. Before first use, the oven should also be damp wiped to remove manufacturing residue, as stated in the manual. We had the new oven smell for only the first two or three times we used it.
The 1100W microwave is just as impressive. Its side‑opening door is one of the best features and is only found on this model. (Consumers need more choices with this door option.) It’s quiet, sleek, and easy to use, with soft‑touch buttons and efficient cooking performance. Together, these appliances create a modern, user‑friendly setup that feels thoughtfully designed from top to bottom.

multiple microwave issues

We picked this oven/microwave out for our new build 3 years ago. at first all was well, but after a year the light panel on the microwave went out, had a repairman come and fix it, it was under warranty. Thought it was a one off. Well now 3 years in, the paint on the inside of the microwave is bubbling and peeling off the top/inside of the microwave. We purchased an extended warranty for 5 years. we are now battling back and forth with them that this should be covered, as it is clearly a paint issue, as its bubbling. We have only ever used water and soap to clean it, so it wasn't due to chemical usage. its been now 4 weeks, and they still have yet to resolve this issue. once the paint has a failure it is unsafe to use, and could cause a fire. This will be the last time we will purchase from frigidaire, the rest of our appliances are LG and have not had a single issue.
