First machine came with damage, current machine had defective door and microwave doesn't work when we get a downpour!

This is a replacement for a previous same model. This one wouldn't fit all the way in the opening so the front hangs out about an inch at the top. The oven door grated when opened and closed. A tech came out and said it would smooth out. That was okay as long as air didn't leak out the sides. I'm in Arizona and we don't get much rain, but now it is monsoon time and everytime it rains hard, the microwave sends me a message saying I have to push the fuse switch, wait 30 seconds and switch it back. Then it works. My fuse box is outside! Yesterday, I called the tech help number on the literature, and got a woman with a foreign accent. She kept saying that if it works after I change the fuse switch, then it is working! The main oven is fine, but the problem is with the microwave oven. It works fine when it works. I want to add that Electrolux was very helpful when I had problems with the first combo oven and brought me my new one as soon as they could. Meanwhile, I don't know how to reach somebody for help who can check the problem.

If your fuse is tripping whenever it rains, water may be getting into your wiring and causing a short circuit. Cooks unevenly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a professional home baker, and this oven is killing me. I knew there would be an adjustment period, but after two weeks of daily baking, I am frustrated. If I bake on a rack lower than the middle point of the oven, the bottoms of cakes and cookies burn, even switching pans midpoint, which reduces my productivity because I can’t bake on two racks at a time. I am accustomed to baking 12-5” pans at a time, 6 on each of two racks. With this oven if I put in 6 on the middle rack, leaving at least 2” between each cake and the walls to allow circulation, there are obvious hot spot extremes, so 12 is not sn option, and 6 on one rack don’t do so well either, so my productivity is 1/3 of my old oven Also there is a weird dumpling on the tops of cakes that I have baked hundreds of times in my old oven with a nice dome on the top I need to calibrate the temperature, because the oven cooks “slower” than my old oven, but that issue is easy to adjust to and compensate for. The uneven baking and too hot on the bottom is insurmountable. I love the control panel of this oven, but that’s not enough to overcome the ruined baked goods and productivity loss.

Sleek and stylish does the trick

Cooking Again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old oven burnt out and I purchased a Frigidaire 30" electric. I was hesitant because it was a convection. Well, I am so happy that I did buy it. I have absolutely cooked everything in my new oven and love it. It is so quiet, it makes me wonder sometimes if it is working. My cakes, cupcakes and casseroles have come out fantastic!

Waiting for number 4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Under no circumstance…..DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!!! I’ve had 3 in 3 months that were defective. My FIRST delivery installation was in June. Upon installation it was declared defective. Waited for inspection from Frigidaire and he agreed, it was not repairable, had to be replaced. In July the replacement was delivered and SAME MANUFACTURING DEFECT! On August 1st our 3rd was delivered and installed. This time after using the microwave ONCE…..I called to report another problem. So another inspector came and this unit was declared NOT REPAIRABLE. The microwave is arcing, rattling, dripping water and smells burnt. Do I want to try for number 4? Absolutely NOT !!! I’ve now spent 6 days waiting for Installation and inspections, not to mention waiting for phone calls to schedule those 6 appointments. Not once have I heard from Frigidaire regarding these defective appliances. I WILL NOT try a 4th one. Decided on another model which will cost$$$$ The sales person at appliance store has gone above and beyond to help me thru this ordeal. Waiting on # 4 now.

New Appliance not Working
