[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from Verizon to T-mobile and the tablet cannot be re-provisioned for T-mobile. Now, it also seems that I cannot receive software updates.

Good Hardware, hoping for better software

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung makes some of if not the outright best tablet hardware. The screen is perfect, and the weight distribution makes what could be an unwieldy device easy to carry. I find that I prefer the keyboard case with the track pad to the one without. Android is at best OK on tablets, despite Samsungs useful improvements.

Love my new tablet upgraded from an Ipad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago for business purposes, so far I have sold my Ipad pro and only use the S8 plus. Great multitasking, fast and responsive. Grat for gaming and excellent for travel. The pen included is amazing and after using it for a month I order the keyboard to see if it can replace my Mac for overall travel / work. If you are looking into this tablet give it a try you won't regret it.

I can draw on it, do all my computing stuff for work and home. Messages, movies Facebook.. it's just awesome. It has a great screen quality and sound. The battery life lasts hours. I just love it.

Everything I was looking for in a portable device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set out to find a tablet I could use as a command center in my truck for safety, OBd2 monitoring, music, cameras etc. It needed to have a larger touch screen with keyboard capabilities, android OS, be usable at home as a highly used device with long battery life, and 5g Hotspot capabilities for supporting other devices on the road or at home (the wife's a online tutor). I had moved to iOS in 2018 from android as I needed a change with both tablets and phones. I wished I hadn't swjtched as Android has really developed into a solid robust operating system. Samsung product line is far less expensive, less restrictive and far more capable than iOS imo. I had been using an iPad pro and iPhone 12 pro max (about to trade it in for a s22 ultra). Wow I have been absolutely blown away. It took me a few days to get the feel back with how android functions and the changes they have made. The screen quality is nothing short of stunning when watching 4k or higher resolution movies. The S-Pen makes quick work of editing photos and I'm still trying to learn how to use it to it'1s full potential (the erase feature of objects in photos is incredible. The new Dex operating system is fantastic for those who are accustomed to using windows ( it looks and feels just like it). The processor speed is the fastest I have ever experienced. I've built many PC's over several decades and I can say with absolute honestly say its lightening fast and could be compared to high end gaming PC's. I haven't put it through rigorous benchmark testing yet. But, I will post about my results once I get it done. All in all I absolutely love it and anyonemon the fence should have no reservations.

Galaxy tab s8+ great media device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my galaxy tab s8+ mostly for media consumption, streaming movies and watching videos online. It excels in picture quality, I find myself using it for the OLED screen more often than living room TV. Can get very bright, I never need to have it more than 50%. The speakers are quite loud and comes from both sides of the tablet when placed horizontally which makes it very convenient. Battery life is reliable, even when it's below 50% I know I have hours left before I have to plug in.
Construction is very strong, I have 0 worries about the tablet body being damaged. It took 1 nasty fall before I put a case on it, and other than some minor scuffing on the corner it functions just fine. After about a year of use the screen still seems to be in perfect condition.
Overall it does it's job as a media device perfectly. Love the display quality.

An absolute iPad killer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this Tab S8 Plus about a week ago. Keep in mind, this is after owning pretty much every iPad Pro up to this date and the regular iPad as well. The screen is phenomenal, images absolutely beautiful and it feels very well made. The OS is fast with no noticeable lag, camera is beautiful and the S Pen works amazingly. I doubt I will ever use another iPad after owning this, Samsung is my new go-to for tablets. Bye Apple!
