UNLIGHTED CONTROL PANEL ??

WHO WOULD DESIGN A CONTROL PANEL WITHOUT LIGHTING? WE WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THIS IF WE HAD KNOWN THE CONTROL PANEL IS UNLIGHTED.

Love not having to reach up to use microwave. Should have upgraded to a drawer microwave a long time ago. Much safer and easier to keep clean.

We’ve had this microwave for two months and it has been the worst microwave I’ve ever owned. The drawer has malfunctioned more than it has worked. It either closes without waiting for you to push the close button (so you don’t have time to put anything in it) or has had other open/close related issues like having to press the button multiple times (which one service repair person claimed was normal???) or having the drawer jostle around before closing. I wish I could return it. I can’t believe how much I spent on such a terrible microwave. Currently waiting on my third technician to come out and have to wait a week for them so won’t be able to use it for a week. Abysmal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not durable

The drawer bottom is glass. It is problematic because if anything is dropped on it, it breaks. You have to replace the entire drawer. This design needs work.

This microwave is posessed

Just had this installed and already have to replace it. It won't stop beeping and the controls no longer function, it only beeps. This happened immediately.

A quick troubleshooting step that you can try is an electronic reset, this can be done by removing the power cord for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. Alternatively, you can reset at the breaker for the same amount of time. However, if this doesn't work, then replacement is the best option.

Poor visibility of screen and difficulty cleaning

There is a real problem with the control screen. It does not light up when you touch it. The words for Open, Close, Start, Stop, etc. are next to impossible to read . It seems like as much as it costs, it would be simple to have a touch sensitive lighting feature like the oven and refrigerator do. It could go back out after a few seconds. But as it is the only part that lights is the screen for the time and function. This is a poor design. Maybe you could create a simple stick on overlay with the control buttons easier to read, as the white lettering on the black background is faint and appears almost gray. The next issue is that cleaning the inside of the top is nearly impossible. You have to contort your arm to get it in there, and then try to peer into the device from pretty much the floor to see if it is clean.
