Fantastic microwave performance

The smooth drawer opening and closing is an easy to use, convenient way to get larger items into and out of the microwave. There are so many options for quick use from popcorn to defrost with great accuracy.

I am constantly pushing clear on this microwave because I accidentally touch it as I walk by! It's a real nuisance! I wish I had chosen the more expensive drawer microwave with its controls hidden on the top, out of my way!

Also, you can use the "Lock Controls" feature, which prevents accidental button presses. Just hold the button down for 3-4 seconds to enable and again to disable.

Controls are on the front where it’s easy to brush against them. I am constantly having to clear the board!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We recommend locking the control panel to prevent the microwave from being accidentally started or used by children. To lock or unlock the controls, press and hold the Lock Controls pad for three seconds. When the control panel is locked, “LOCKED” will appear in the display.

Do not buy for an island!

The control screen on the microwave is very hard to read. Pale lettering on black. It looks like it should light up, but it doesn't. The only thing that lights up is the little screen that tells you the time set to microwave. You really need to have all the kitchen light on full blast in the kitchen to see the choices at all. This was sold to me as an island microwave. Absolutely not! The control panel does not flip open so you can see it from the top. I have had island microwaves before. This is the worst. You have to bend over or crouch to see the controls. Very disappointing! Expensive, so I'm not replacing it. But I will!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
