We are happy so far with our first microwave drawer. The installation was easy and setting it up. The sleek look and features are a plus!

Disappointed

For a high end device this microwave misses the mark. The keys aren’t backlit, the door is anything but smart requiring that you hit close after you’ve keyed in the the cook function and time you want, lastly no WiFi.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Totally missed the mark.

I was so excited to get my Cafe' appliances but this microwave totally missed the mark! We purchased the fridge, dishwasher drawer and this microwave. The matte white is NOT the same as the others in the series and there is NO trim kit available for standard cabinets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All of our appliances are meant to mesh well with one another in your home, especially if they are all in the same finish. Lighting can play a huge role in how a finish is perceived. Also, you're correct, this model does not have trim kits associated with it.

Great under counter unit.

Good installation manual. It took 4 hours to rework cabinet for a nice recessed installation. Look great but color is not true black. Looks more like graphite.

The operation panel doesn’t light up.

The unit operates perfectly fine. I wish the panel would light up so you could walk into the kitchen and use the microwave without turning the light on.

Short people rejoice

Love this microwave drawer! Mine is installed below the French-door wall oven (truly a marvelous appliance!), which for me is a huge improvement on the standard over-the-range/wall oven configuration — I can see what’s going on inside, I don’t need a step stool to clean, and the controls are easy to reach. Because the base is stationary (no rotating tray), things generally take a bit longer to cook, but this is a small inconvenience, particularly in light of all the positive features. Highly recommended, as are all the Café appliances I purchased (French-door wall oven, dishwasher, fridge, induction cooktop, chimney range hood, as well as the microwave drawer) for my kitchen renovation!

Still new to us, but good first impression

Aesthetically lovely. Quiet. Seems like even and quick heat. Cleaning is easy this far too. The only observation I have is that it is really “reactive”…can be leaning back up against it and counter and accidentally push a button or push for door to open.
I would recommend this to a friend!
