takes patience and tenacity

this is the second defective unit in a row. the melt butter setting will ruin the unit. dont use that setting.

Poor quality! 2.5 years and now sparks

We've had this microwave for 2.5 years. Loved the design and features but now 2.5 years in and the microwave is sparking! Looking at the reviews, it seems to be a common issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Arcing and Sparking KNOWN ISSUE! Do Not Buy

We remodeled our kitchen and this under counter microwave drawer was our largest investment. Like others, ours is sparking in the same back left bottom. This is clearly a defect and known issue. I’m so disappointed in Cafe. How can this be fixed?

Buyer beware

Do not buy this microwave. If 0 stars was an option I would have selected.
BEWARE! When the microwave breaks GE will tell you that it is normal operation and that there is no fix. Not to mention the rude service that comes with it.
I would never suggest this product to my worst enemy.

Appliance has not been installed yet. Kitchen remodeling has not started, so I can not comment on the performance or features of the appliances. However:
1. Only the drawer Microwave CWL112P4R1WS and Wall Chimney Vent Hood CVW73014M1WM included the Owner’s Manuals. The literature package included with the microwave was complete. This was not true for the range, refrigerator, and dishwasher.

Not a safe installation in my case. Buyer Beware.

Microwave function is great, but the installation and sensitivity is not so... The keypad is VERY sensitive and without a handle, it's very easy for your body to brush against it while working in the kitchen. This can either open the door on accident, (which can create a traffic jam) start the microwave running (which could be a fire hazard!), or lock the keypad (which is annoying). My contractor wasn't able to flush install the microwave so it sits out proud of both the cabinet and the countertop, acting as a crumb catcher on my island. I'm looking to replace it, just 2 weeks after moving into a new build house. Very disappointed with our kitchen designer, Southeast
